๐Ÿ’พ Fifteen times the profit. Four times the revenue...

Yeah, thatโ€™s Micronโ€™s quarter.

Micron Technology (MU) just reported fiscal Q3 2026 earnings, and the numbers are hard to look at without squinting.

Revenue hit $41.46 billion. Analysts expected $35.84 billion. A year ago it was $9.3 billion.

Profit jumped from $1.89 billion to $28.24 billion. Gross margin (the profit left over after production costs) went from 39% to 84.9%.

The reason? Memory chips. There aren't enough of them, and Micron is one of only three companies on earth that make most of the supply.

AI data centers are eating up all the memory they can get. Phones, laptops, and cars need it too. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said supply shortages โ€œwill take considerable time to improveโ€ and the gap won't close until 2028.

Micron also locked in 16 long-term deals with data centers and automakers, worth $22 billion in committed purchases.

Next quarter, Micron guided to $50 billion in revenue. Wall Street expected $43.58 billion.

Stock jumped more than 16% in afterhours trading, pushing MU past a $1 trillion market cap, though MU usually goes down around this time of year.

โ€‹
๐Ÿฅก
The Takeaway: Watch MU at the open to see if the pop holds or traders start cashing out, because a stock that guides $6 billion above what analysts expected either has more room or just told you everything.

๐Ÿ” Reddit found Wendy's...

And the short sellers are sweating.

Wendy's (WEN) jumped more than 16% before the opening bell, and the reason on paper was a new CFO hire.

That's... it.

Here's what's actually going on...

Wendy's has lost roughly half its value over the past year.

The chain posted five straight quarters of falling sales at existing locations and closed about 300 restaurants in the first half of 2026.

Not exactly a turnaround story yet.

About 23% of WEN's shares available to trade are currently being bet against by investors expecting the price to fall.

If WEN keeps going up, those short sellers have to buy their shares back to stop the bleeding. That forces the price even higher. That's what traders call a short squeeze.

WEN ranked as the second-most talked-about stock on Reddit trading forums in the past 24 hours.

Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund Management has also been seeking funding to take the whole company private, with Peltz personally holding 16.24% of Wendy's.

โ€‹
๐Ÿฅก
The Takeaway: Watch WEN for any official word from Trian on a take-private bid, because that headline would move the stock harder than any CFO hire.

โ˜ข๏ธ Nuclear just got a government sugar daddy...

And tech companies are already at the front of the line.

The Toupee Fiasco (Trump) administration's Energy Department announced $17.5 billion in loans to help build 10 new nuclear reactors across the U.S.

Five projects. Two reactors each. Each one generating enough power to run roughly 800,000 homes.

Westinghouse will design them. Its parent company, Cameco Corp (CCJ), ticked up more than 1% on the news. Small move for now.

The loan money doesn't go straight to Westinghouse. Each project needs to raise nearly $1 billion in private investment first to unlock the government funds.

The administration expects big tech companies to sign long-term power deals with these projects.

That makes sense. AI data centers need enormous, reliable electricity, and nuclear delivers that without carbon emissions.

Microsoft (MSFT) already signed a deal to support the restart of Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania. Alphabet (GOOGL) did the same in Iowa.

But no big tech company has signed on for a brand-new reactor yet.

This announcement is the first step toward making that happen.

โ€‹
๐Ÿฅก
The Takeaway: Watch CCJ, because if a big tech company signs a power agreement for one of these new reactors, Cameco gets direct exposure to the buildout and that's what moves this from a 1% tick to something real.
